Hello everyone
We’re sending this invitation out to all of you that helped make the first annual Hamilton Maker Faire such a huge success. We had an amazing event in June, and it’s time to start planning the next one. We’ll be hosting our first Annual General Meeting this Saturday, October 24, at the Staircase Ellen Mae Theatre (25 Dundurn St N, just S of the main Staircase building). Join us from noon to 2pm to recap the results of our year, and to meet the new executive for 2016. Light snacks and top-notch mingling will be provided 🙂
Are you, or is anyone you know interested in getting more involved? Hammer City Makers is looking for nominations for our 2016 executive committee. We would really love you to join us, as not all outgoing directors will be returning. New directors will be elected by the existing members, so if you’re interested, please get in touch so we can arrange to meet you! Not interested in being a director? We still need help on our larger planning committee. Come to the AGM and meet our existing members to talk about how you can help make the 2016 Hamilton Maker Faire as good or better than this year’s!
